The photo you upload
Your photo is used once — to create your doll image — and it is never saved on our servers. It is processed in memory, sent to our AI partner (Google) solely to generate the image, and gone. If you hit “run it again,” the page starts fresh — nothing is kept, so you simply upload your photo again.
What we do keep
- The doll images we create for you — so we can deliver your package, HD image, and prints you order.
- Your name and email, when you request a package — to send it, and for occasional PlushYou emails. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- The doll's written description (hair color, eye color, outfit type — words, never your photo), saved with your pattern so we can regenerate or re-send it if you ever need us to.
- One cookie(“py_ref”, 60 days) that remembers who referred you, so we can thank them. No ad networks, no cross-site tracking, no third-party analytics — our counters (like “how many dolls were generated today”) are internal and not tied to advertising.
Who touches your data
Only the services that run PlushYou: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (storage and database), Resend (email delivery), and Google (AI image generation). We never sell your data, and we never share it beyond what it takes to make and deliver your doll.
Photos of children
PlushYou is a service for adults. When you upload a photo of a child, you are responsible for having the right to use it — for your own family that’s usually you; for anyone else’s child, get the parent’s OK first. We never knowingly collect information from children, and child photos follow the same rule as all photos: used once, never stored.
Erasing everything
One email to support@plushyou.app and we delete your doll images, your email address, all of it. Gone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it — and we don’t make promises here we can’t keep in code.
